That line had me in my feelings all week. Congrats to a certain close friend of mine who became engaged to her man this past week or so. Ole boy is a good dude. Forgive me tho if my Congratulations has a Vesta-like ring to it. I wonder if I get an invite to the wedding.


Companions, commitments, relationships...what does it all really mean at the end of the day? 3000 and Antwan told me that nothing is for sure, nothing is for certain, nothing lasts forever. I believe them. I'm saying, it's vicious outchea these days; you can give your literal all to someone who will still do you type dirty end of the day. And you were dumb, err umm loyal enough to be faithful. I got caught with my cape on one time years back...never again.


Having said all that, I do believe in true love. Genuine love. Everlasting love. My bro @TheMisterCeizzo and his queen Lady Storm are the modern day Ozzie & Harriet. The lil homie Flash and his queen are mid 20 somethings already bonded for life with gorgeous boy and girl infant twins. My homie L and his wife have been together since high school. It's very possible. But in this day and time these relationships seem more like the exception than the rule. Meanwhile, I've got Shalamar "Somewhere There's a Love" on repeat...
